What Color Is Your Parachute, 2018 Edition: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers, by Richard N. Bolles is an informative job-search guidebook.
 
According to the back cover copy, this book is considered "the world's most popular job-hunting guide, revised and updated annually with more than ten million copies sold. This 2018 edition features the latest studies and perspectives on today's job-market, including proven strategies for finding jobs." 

This book is divided into twelve chapters, which are titled as It's a Whole New World for Job-Hunters, Google Is Your New Resume, There Are Over Ten Million Vacancies Available Each Month, Sixteen Tips About Interviewing for a Job, The Six Secrets of Salary Negotiation, What to Do When Your Job-Hunt Just Isn't Working, Self-Inventory Part 1, Self-Inventory Part 2, You Get to Choose Where You Work, How to Deal with Any Handicaps You Have, The Five Ways to Choose/Change Careers, and How to Start Your Own Business.

Plus, there a section titled as The Blue Pages, which is actually blue pages with helpful appendices. This book is a helpful manual to prepare for employment with practical and essential tips for job searchers, as well as ways to focus on your ideal job for your life.

What Color Is Your Parachute is geared towards all ages, from high school students to older retirement age generations. It's a recommended and worthwhile manual for those interested in job searching and/or career changing.
