Title: Falling for You
Author: Becky Wade
Series: A Bradford Sisters Romance, Book #2
Publication Date: May 1, 2018
Falling for You, by Becky Wade is primarily a second chance contemporary romance featuring inspirational themes and an underlying mystery.
Willow Bradford is a famous model, but she was definitely ready for a break in her fast-paced life. Currently, she's delighted to run her family's inn in her hometown. Unfortunately, she encounters her ex-boyfriend and former love of her life, who broke her still damaged heart.
Corbin Stewart was a successful NFL quarterback until a career-ending injury. Now, he's dealing with the stress of starting over and trying to recover. When Corbin's niece convinces him that she has to meet Willow, he finds himself playing detective along with Willow and his niece to uncover a family secret.
Both Willow and Corbin are dealing with personal issues, as well as lack of trust from their previous relationship. However, they are also experiencing mutual attraction that eventually leads to reuniting their relationship during their unofficial detective work.
Throughout the story, Corbin and Willow are dealing with personal issues, as well as trying to rebuild their lack of trust, due to the end of their former relationship. During their unofficial detective work with Corbin's niece, Willow and Corbin continue to hide their mutual attraction that eventually leads to reuniting their relationship. The three sisters have a close friendship, and their conversations are usually entertaining.
It's the second book in A Bradford Sisters Romance series, and there's also a prequel novella called Then Came You, which provides a glimpse into the Bradford sisters' lives by focusing on their parents. It's recommended, yet not necessary, to read the prequel and first book in the series to meet all the Bradford family members. In the future, I'm looking forward to continuing the series, which will hopefully feature the other Bradford sister.
Falling for You is recommended and geared towards those who enjoy reading contemporary novels with a clean romantic storyline intermixed with a mystery or two.
Note: I received this book from Bethany House Publishers, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
