Audiobook Review: Fallen Ink

Fallen Ink (Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs, #1)

Title: Fallen Ink
Author: Carrie Ann Ryan
Series: Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs, Book #1
Audiobook Narrator: Joe Arden
Publication Date: April 17, 2018

Fallen Ink, by Carrie Ann Ryan is an enjoyable contemporary romance novel that incorporates best friends falling in lust (and eventually in love).

Adrienne Montgomery, along with her brother and two cousins from Denver, recently opened a new tattoo shop in Colorado Springs. She's delighted to open her dream shop, and Adrienne is blessed to also work with her best friend, Mace Knight. Their best friend status is slightly severed, when Mace and Adrienne act upon their intense lustful attraction without incorporating love (or even a quick chat) beforehand.

Along with their strained relationship, Mace is learning how to be a full-time single dad to his young daughter. And the tattoo shop is suffering with on-going issues by unsavory characters, which highly affects Adrienne. However, they both learn how to deal with these issues and re-design their friendship into a close relationship with plenty of sensual moments.

This book is the first in the Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs book series, which is a spin-off of the popular Montgomery Ink series. It's not necessary (yet it's recommended) to read all of the Montgomery Ink books before starting with Fallen Ink. Plus, devoted readers will want to meet all of the extensive Montgomery siblings and their friends, since this new series lives within the same world as the following book series: Montgomery Ink, Gallagher Brothers, and Whiskey and Lies.

Fallen Ink is recommended and geared towards those who enjoy reading contemporary romances.
