Book Review: This I Know

This I Know: Trusting Your Unknown Future to a Known God

This I Know: Trusting Your Unknown Future to a Known God, by Laura Dingman is an inspirational bible study, which focuses on how to live with the knowledge and faith that God is in control.

In this bible study, the author shares biblical wisdom, inspirational stories, and practical advice on how to help manage concerns and worries. On page 9, Dingman wrote, "When so much is unknown, we need to refocus on what is known--about our God and His Word. We are desperate for God to anchor our present even though we don't know what the future holds. This I Know is a six-week Bible study that walks through biblical truths you can clutch tightly in the unknown. These truths find their roots in the trustworthy characteristics of God.

This book is structured into six weeks, which are titled as A Known God, What Do You Really Believe, Cornerstone, Our Eyes Are on You, Regardless, You Are Good, and I Will Remember. Each chapter is divided into five days and a weekly introduction. Also, there are additional sections, including A Note from the Author, Into the Unknown: An Introduction to This Study, Conclusion: Into the Unknown, and My Deepest Gratitude.

Even though this bible study is set up for a six week bible study, it's easily extended for those wanting to expand this study for longer studies. It's ideal for bible studies and small groups, as well as individual personal prayer and devotional time.

This I Know features is a wonderful resource for various ages, from young adults to older generations.

Note: I received this book from Moody Newsroom, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
