Book Review: A McClendon Thanksgiving

A McClendon Thanksgiving, by Sean D. Young is an entertaining contemporary holiday romance focused on family, friendship, and food.

Faith McClendon moved back home to focus on her career as a fashion designer, and she's hesitant to start a new relationship, due to her previously failed marriage and her ex-husband with serious issues.

Michael Montgomery has secretly loved Faith for years...since their childhood, yet their close friendship struggled when she moved away and married another man. Now, she's single and living in the same town, and Michael is finally ready to express his unrequited love for Faith.

With Faith's cautiousness towards dating, Michael decides to focus on friendship, which continues to slowly develop into a real relationship. Plus, there are plenty of intrusive family members to add drama to their story.

A McClendon Thanksgiving is the first book in The McClendon Holiday series, and it's geared towards those who enjoy reading contemporary holiday romances.

Note: I received this book from NetGalley, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
