Book Review: 3-Minute Devotions

3-Minute Devotions with Andrew Murray: 180 Readings to Deepen Your Prayer Life is an interesting devotional book compiled by Babour Staff.

According to the Introduction, Andrew Murray is considered "one of the best-loved and most widely read writers on the deeper Christian life, this South African pastor, preacher, and missions speaker.... Here, thoughtfully chosen from the best of Murray's 240 books and carefully updated in today's language, are his treasured insights on prayer along with simple tools that will help you use time to draw closer to God."

Each daily devotion features the title, scripture verse, devotional text, and prayer. Also, a Scripture Index is included at the end of the book.

3-Minute Devotions with Andrew Murray is geared towards a variety of age groups, from young adults to older generations. With one devotional per page, this book may easily be added to your current personal devotional time or it's a great way to start setting aside time each day to spend with God.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Note: I received this book from NetGalley, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
