This married couple has five children and their bio lists that "together they create resources to encourage couples and families." This book provides encouragement and practical help for parents of daughters.

As the title indicates, this paperback book focuses on praying for children, specifically daughters throughout every part of their young lives. The authors incorporate scripture passages with personal experiences and observations.

According to the back cover copy, the authors "give you a strong foundation to build a lifelong habit of praying for your daughter. They also help you understand what girls go through growing up, including stress, purity issues, social pressure, modesty challenges, spiritual growth, and more."

This book is divided into eighty-eight chapters with all titles starting with When She, such as When She Needs God's Salvation, When She's My Treasure, When She Feels Inferior, When She Needs Peace, When She's Angry,  When She's Rejected, When She's Worried, When She's Proud, When She Needs to Give, When She Needs to Work, When She's Healing, When She Needs to Confess, When She's Bored, When She's Feeling Bitter, When She Needs a Friend, When She Needs a Mentor, When She's Critical of Others, When She's Pressured to Fit In, When She Needs Compassion, When She Goes through Trials, When She Compares Herself to Others, When She Longs for Beauty, When She Needs the Word of God, etc. Also, there are several additional sections titled as A Word from Rob, A Word from Joanna, A Prayer Story, Her Relationship with Her Dad, Her Blessings, Her Identity, Her Purity, Her Failures, Her Protection, Her Idols, Her Gifts and Talents, Her Relationship with God, Notes, etc.

Powerful Prayers for Your Daughter is an inspirational resource about praying for your child, and it's geared toward parents, particularly parents of daughters. Also, there's another book titled as Powerful Prayers for Your Son.
