As the title indicates, this book provides readers with letters to those who are weary in this world along with a call to have courage since God is always here. According to the back cover copy: "In a series of letters, Rebecca Reynolds uses imagery to breathe truth to the lonely, the weary, the restless, and the afraid."
This book is divided into nine chapters (or letters), which are titled as Hullo, Out There!: A Note to the Reader, I Know a Stranger: A Letter to the Rejected, Bird with a Broken Wing: A Letter to the Long-Suffering, Protein Soup: A Letter to Those Living in Chaos, Scared to Death: A Letter to the Fearful, The Kiss of the Mountain God: A Letter to the Skeptical, The Whisper of Our Backs: A Letter to Disillusioned, Not All Who Wander Are Lost: A Letter to the Expat, and All Things New: A Letter to the Homesick. Also, there's an additional section titled as Notes.
Praying God's Promises is an inspirational guide to prayer, and it's geared towards various ages, from young adults to older generations.
