Book Review: Scoring Off the Field

Scoring off the Field (WAGS, #2)

Scoring Off the Field, by Naima Simone is a passionate contemporary romance story.

Tennyson Clark has been in love with Dominic Anderson for years. However, he only treats her like a little sister and frequently dates other women. In order to reestablish her own life separate from Dominic, Tennyson has decided to quit her job as Dominic's assistant and apply for a job in another state.

Despite their best friend status, Tennyson is ready to move on and try to overcome her unrequited love. Yet, Dominic isn't willing to lose her. They have been best friends since their years together in a foster home. Due to previous experiences, Dominic doesn't believe that love and football can work out, since he has to be fully focused on his job a the star quarterback for the Washington Warriors. However, Dominic is willing to try acting on lust, instead of love, with Tennyson.

Even though it's the second book in the WAGS series, it may be read as a standalone. However, it's recommended to start with the first book, Scoring with the Wrong Twin.

Scoring Off the Field is geared towards those who prefer amorous contemporary romance books.
