The Power of a SEAL, by Anne Elizabeth is a captivating romance with action-suspense mixed into the storyline, and the fifth book in The Power of a SEAL series.
A marine veterinarian meets a veteran SEAL when he saves her from danger.
Leaper Lefton is a a Navy SEAL with decades of experience, and he's now working as an instructor for SEAL trainees. During a training exercise, he spots a someone struggling and saves her. Kerry Hamilton is a marine mammal veterinarian working in the sea with one of the animals from her employment facility when she desperately needs assistance. After meeting in the water, they decide to act on their instant attraction and start to date. However, both Leaper and Kerry are dedicated to their jobs and dealing with serious issues at work.
Most of the book is a continuous series of life and death scenarios intermixed with plenty of romance and water adventures.
The Power of a SEAL is geared towards those who enjoy reading action-suspense romances, particularly stories involving music, water, marine life, and SEALS.
Note: I received this book from NetGalley, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
