Book Review: Wow

Wow: The Good News in Four Words is a hardcover picture book for children, which is written by Dandi Daley Mackall and illustrated by Annabel Tempest.

According to the back cover: "The gospel is often called "the Good News," and that's because it's the best news ever! Wow! tells the Good News using four word: Wow! Uh-Oh. Yes! Ah. Bright, joyful illustrations and fun-to-read rhymes walk kids through God's whole story."

In addition to the creative and whimsical illustrations and faith-based text, there are scripture references featured in the back of the book. According to the Note to Parents section: "This book conveys God's amazing grace and plan of salvation in simple terms children (and grown-ups) will understand and remember. As you read through each part of this story, encourage your child to shout out each focus word: Wow! Uh-oh. Yes! Ahh. Wow!"

In thirty pages, this easy-to-read picture book is geared toward ages four to eight.

Note: I received this book from Tyndale Blog Network, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
