Book Review: Kingdom Family Devotional

Kingdom Family Devotional: 52 Weeks of Growing Together is a family devotional book by Tony Evans and Jonathan Evans.

In the Introduction, the authors share that "this devotional is designed to be a tool for you as parents to use with your children to instill biblical truth and spiritual values in the minds and hearts of the next generation.... This book was also written with flexibility in mind, so that you can adapt the principles and projects to the various ages of your children.... Each devotion has been written in first person for a parent to read aloud.... Our prayer is that these devotions will support your role in raising kingdom kids who learn to consistently live all of life under God's divine authority."
Each daily devotion features a scripture reading and devotional text.  There are 260 devotions with five devotionals per week, and each week concentrates on a new topic or theme.

The weekly themes include the following: Love, Respect, Purity, Salvation, Spiritual Warfare, Spiritual Growth, Faith, Purpose, Self-Control, Money, Prayer, Giving, The Holy Spirit, Friends, Family, Manhood, Womanhood, Sin, Forgiveness, Witnessing, Idolatry, Truth, Righteousness, Integrity, Trials, Servanthood, Peace, Perseverance, Goals, Teamwork, Priorities, Hard Work, Communication, Worship, Church, Fear, Discipleship, Obedience, Greatness, Unity, Eternity, Wisdom, Success, Courteous Speech, Identity, Temptation, Maturity, Jesus Christ, Repentance, Kingdom, and Discipline.

With one devotional per page, the Kingdom Family Devotional may easily be added to your family's devotional time or it's a a great way to start setting aside family time each day to spend with God.
