Book Review: Sheet Pan Suppers Vegetarian

Sheet Pan Suppers Vegetarian: 100 Recipes for Simple, Satisfying, Hands-Off Meals Straight from the Oven, by Raquel Pelzel is vegetarian cookbook. Even though the author isn't a vegetarian, she shared in the book that she regularly cooks with vegetables and plant-based proteins.

In the Introduction, Pelzel shared, "I hope this book offers you lots of ideas and potions so you always feel inspired to cook a home-cooked meal. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, or just want to get your family to eat a greener diet a few times a week, may the sheet pan help you get there."

With a focus on cooking vegetable themed meals, this book promotes that cooking with a sheet pan is easy, convenient, and practical. Various tips are included throughout the book, and recipes that are gluten-free and vegan are marked accordingly.

This book is divided into the following eight main sections: Bits, Bites, and Snacks, Soups and Salads, Veggies with a Side of Vegetables, Grain Bowls and Beyond, Beans and Legumes, Pasta, Bread, and Pizza, Breakfasts and Brunches, and Desserts, as well as the Introduction, Conversion Tables and Index.

While featuring brilliant full-color delicious looking photographs, Sheet Pan Suppers Vegetarian is geared towards all ages, from young adults to older generations.
