Book Review: How to Pack

How to Pack: Travel Smart for Any Trip is a practical how-to guide about packing, which is written by Hitha Palepu and illustrated by Kelly Lasserre.

As a "former consultant who has traveled more than 500,000 miles around the world," the author shared in the Introduction, "You are what you pack was the first travel lesson I learned.... I had figured out who I really wanted to be and how I could pack for achieving that.... The method I outline in this book ensures that every one of your trips will reach its full potential, unhindered by inadequate packing.... It's time to pack perfect. Every trip, every time. Your journey starts here."

This book is divided into the following six main sections:  Preparing for Takeoff: How to Pre-Pack, Ready to Wear: Choosing Clothes with Style, Secret Weapons: The Right Accessories Can Make Your Look, Pack Pretty: Toiletry Needs and Beauty Must-Haves, Putting It All Together: How to Pack for Maximum Space, and Come Fly with Me: How to Survive and Thrive in the Airport and Beyond, as well as the Introduction, Find Your Packing Personality, The Packing Timeline, The Perfect Packing Lists, and Blank Packing Lists.

With a delightfully creative front cover, this book focuses on practical packing advice, travel tips, and checklists, as well as various corresponding drawings throughout the book.
As a helpful resource for travelers, How to Pack is geared towards all ages, from young adults to older generations.

Note: I received this book from Blogging for Books, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
