Book Review: Denying the Duke

Denying the Duke, by Callie Hutton is a historical regency romance, as well as the third book in the Lords and Ladies in Love series.

As the second son to a duke, Lord Alexander Pemberton was treated with disregard by his parents and scorn by his older heir brother. Alex never envied his brother, until it was announced that his brother was betrothed to Lady Patience Browning...the woman Alex loved.

Four years later, Alex returns home after the death of his brother and discovers that Lady Patience Browning is still single. After years apart, family interference, and numerous misunderstandings, Alex and Patience attempt to reconcile their youthful time together with who they are today, despite the continual hindrances to their new relationship.

Denying the Duke is geared towards those who prefer reading historical regency romances.
