Book Review: The Rancher and the City Girl

The Rancher and the City Girl is an captivating contemporary romance by Joya Ryan.

Tripp Montgomery (referred to as Reed in the book summary) and his two best friends are ranchers in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Due to his single father status, Tripp spends his days trying to corral the cattle, as well as his adorable little six-year-old daughter, which doesn't allow any time to date. However, when Tripp meets a lovely Los Angeles city girl visiting Cheyenne, he asks her out on a date. After their one night together, Charlotte "Charlie" Gram doesn't expect to see Tripp again, yet she discovers that they're now neighbors, while she helps her grandmother on the bordering ranch.

One blissful night leads to disagreements and drama, until Tripp and Charlotte decide to focus on a tentative relationship. However, issues from their pasts may affect their future, unless they can move onto trusting each other.

The Rancher and the City Girl is highly recommended and geared towards those who enjoy reading contemporary romance books.
