Book Review: A Pattern for Pepper

A Pattern for Pepper is written and illustrated by Julie Kraulis. Within forty pages, this children's book focus on various patterns and their history through Pepper's indecision to select fabric for her new dress.

According to book description: "Julie Kraulis takes readers on a journey through gorgeous patterns and their origins--from the mountains of Switzerland to the green grass of Scotland--in search of Pepper's ideal pattern. The incredible illustrations make for a dress, a character and a book that are impossible to forget."

A Pattern for Pepper is an enjoyable easy-to-read book with lovely illustrations, and it's geared toward young children, particularly ages five to nine.

Note: I received this book from NetGalley, which is a program designed for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
