Book Review: Enforcer's Redemption

Enforcer's Redemption, by Carrie Ann Ryan is an intriguing paranormal romance book, which provides plenty of suspense and drama surrounding the Redwood wolf pack.

As the first Jamenson sibling to find his mate, Adam was also the first to lose his mate in a horrifying manner. Even though it was years ago, he's still dealing with heartache, especially since his brothers have recently been finding their true mates. However, Adam tries to ignore his past pain and focus on his duties as the Redwood pack's enforcer, except now he has a new mate.

Bay Milton was delighted to finally discover her mate and went straight to bed with him the first night, until she woke up alone...mated, pregnant, and abandoned. When her life is serious danger, Bay seeks safety from her mate and meets her new werewolf pack. As the story unfolds, Adam and Bay struggle to deal with their mating and non-relationship, as well as the pregnancy, secrets, and danger from outside forces.

With a mission to destroy the Redwood pack, the Central wolves have turned away from their true nature with an evil alpha werewolf pack leader and his truly demented heir son initiating a horrifying deal that releases one of the worst demons into their world. The leaders of the Central wolves summoned this demon to assist with their assault on the Redwood Pack, particularly the Jamenson family. And this terrifying storyline is on-going and overarching throughout the majority of the Redwood Pack series with the Jamenson family and friends facing serious problems, including captivity, torture, and even death.

Since it's the fourth book in the Redwood Pack series, it's recommended to read the series in order, starting with the first book, An Alpha's Path. Readers will be able to slowly meet the entire Jamenson family and learn more about the Central pack's evil plan. Also, it's a completed book series, yet various characters are included in the corresponding (and currently on-going) Talon Pack series.
Enforcer's Redemption is geared towards those who enjoy reading paranormal romances focused on werewolves, along with a surprise pregnancy theme and serious suspense interlaced into the story.

Note: I received this book from the author, who provided reissued copies for bloggers to write book reviews in exchange for books, yet the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
