Romancing the Bachelor, by Diane Alberts is an enjoyable contemporary romance.
Shelby Jefferson is ready leave Atlanta and move to a small town, yet she's simply waiting for an official job offer. As a court reporter, she constantly sees lawyer Eric Hamilton throughout the week, especially since they have lived in the same building for past six months. However, Eric never noticed Shelby, until she raced in late to work one day.
After Eric instantly fell for Shelby, he pursues her, even though she seems to despise him, despite their obvious attraction. As the story unfolds, they're forced to deal with their growing friendship developing into an unofficial relationship, as well as her job situation, family complications, and issues from the past affecting their future.
Since it's the second book in the Hamilton Family series, it's recommended to start with the first book, The CEO's Seduction, yet it's not necessary to read the books in order.
Romancing the Bachelor is a captivating story with intriguing characters, and it's geared towards those who enjoy reading modern romances.
