Blog Hop: Stacking the Shelves, Mailbox Monday, and What Are You Reading

My blog, Reading with Beth, is participating in Stacking the Shelves, Mailbox Monday, and It's Monday, What Are You Reading blog hops.

Welcome to new visitors! My blog focuses on reading, particularly book reviews. Check out my blog archive for recent posts, including the April Giveaway and Hoppy Easter Eggstravaganza Giveaway Hop, which both end on April 30.

Recently, I finished listening to The Battle of the Labyrinth, by Rick Riordan, which is book four of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. This is such an enjoyable book series to listen via audiobook.

Also, I've continued to focus on reading review books this past week. My list (with links to my recent book reviews) are listed below.

  1. I am almost always listening to audibooks, started about two years ago. I loved Riordan's Percy Jackson series, but had trouble with the Kane Chronicles, even though I love Egyptian mythology. Someone told me the audiobooks of that series were good, so I'll probably try them. I hope you have a great week!

    1. I'm almost always listening to an audiobook, particularly adventure stories or suspense/mystery genres. I've not tried the Kane Chronicles, yet. But highly recommend the audiobooks for the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series! :)

  2. 100% Real looks like something I should read. :) And audio does seem like a good way to go with the Riordan books- I have yet to read those but I want to. One of these days...

  4. Audiobooks are the best, loving mine at present - the Chilbury Ladie's Choir. Can imagine that the Rick Riordan books would be awesome on audio.

  5. I love audio- it is my commuting savior! I am currently reading Comfort Food, by Kate Jacobs, and just finished Fredrik Backman's a Man Called Ove- so good. I could never read as much without audio!
